Christmas Blessings

Posted On Friday December 22, 2017

Dear St. Patrick Catholic School Families,

During this Holy season, we wanted to wish you all love, hope and peace. Christmas is the most wondrous feast – the birthday of the One who came to show us a God of love. Let us be reminded of Isaiah’s prophecy: “How beautiful upon the mountaintops are the feet of the messenger who … brings good news.”(Isaiah 52:7) Let us be the feet of those who walk the extra step to greet someone, who step beyond the gifts and appreciate the heart of the giver, who move about the kitchen preparing food and serving others, who walk into homeless shelters or places to bring some of their own abundance, who walk with glad tidings with love in their hearts.  The Christ of abundant love, born some two thousand years ago, lives on in us. As our feet take us near and far, let us continue to be Christ to one another.

We’d like to take this opportunity on behalf of all of the staff, to thank all of you for your Christmas wishes, gifts and prayers. We hope that you enjoy a relaxing and peaceful holiday, surrounded by those you love. We also wish you a Happy New Year! We will see everyone on January 8, 2018.

Finally, please join us in wishing Ms. Sexton, our secretary, goodbye and good luck! She is moving back home to New Brunswick. Our new secretary will have big shoes to fill!

Joyeux Noël! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! Bonne heureuse année!
