| Patron Saint |

Our patron saint is St. Patrick. St. Patrick's life indicates a dedication to the faith in the role of missionary priest and bishop. In the 1840's the first parish established in Pickering was made up predominately with new immigrants from Ireland. The school name recognizes their contribution to the faith life of the community. St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. The feast day of St. Patrick is celebrated on March 17. |

As Catholic educators, we live according to our Father's code and to lead our students, by example, to live the basic truths of the gospel message. This is an awesome, yet inspiring challenge which we share with the parents of our young men and women. Children learn what they live. Each day we have the opportunity to teach our students:
